Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder They Fall, The Piano Lesson) plays Ramona, a woman paralyzed by grief after surviving a car accident that left her husband (Russell Hornsby; BMF, Fences). Severely injured, Ramona now has to care for her 14-year-old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American Refugee) and 6-year-old daughter (Estella Kahiha; Will Trent, BMF) on her rural farm. Then one day, a woman takes shape in their backyard. Ramona assumes the woman (Okwui Okpokwasili; The Exorcist: The Believer, Julie Taymorโs A Midsummer Nightโs Dream) is lost or deranged, but as the woman draws closer to home, it becomes clear that she is no ordinary figure and that her intentions are anything but peaceful. Now Ramona must band together to protect herself and her children from the clutches of a woman who simply wonโt leave them alone.
